Performance analysis of pulse shape filter for repetition channel coding

Pulse shaping filters in communication system is used for generating bandlimited channel and reducing inter symbol interference(ISI). By applying pulse shaping filter to the modulated signal, sharp transitions in the signal are levelled and the signal is limited to specific frequency band. In this paper the performances of different pulse shaping filters, are analyzed with 1/3 repetition channel coding for various modulation schemes. The channel coding along with the proposed filter is simulated using labview simulator. Bit Error Rate (BER) and Eye pattern for various modulation schemes in AWGN channel have been analyzed in this paper.
