Synthesis of electron optics with convergent sheet beam at magnetically shielding cathode

The results of simulation of electron-optical systems with sheet electron beam with compression are presented. Electron gun is considered with thermionic and field emission cathodes with 2.1 0.8 mm². The result of modeling the electron gun at linear compression of 14, the beam of current 0.1 A has dimension of 0.15 0.8 mm² are performed. The electric field on the cold cathode is 0.16· 10⁵ V/cm at anode voltage 20000 V.
