Modelling, simulation and analysis of a cooling system for li-ion batteries in a EBAJA all terrain vehicle

The following paper illustrates the experimental approach of developing an efficient cooling system for a EBAJA All-terrain vehicle comprising of Lithium-ion batteries acting as a power source for traction. The development of this specific cooling system involves modelling different architectures of the whole system in SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software followed by simulation in Flow Simulation feature of the above software. It later analyses the effects on performance of the All-terrain vehicle due to that specific cooling system highlighting various factors being put into consideration along with this cooling system to be more specifically suitable to a EBAJA All-terrain vehicle and not any other electric or hybrid vehicle due to various assumptions, factors and limitations.
