Development of an application for better online shopping using computer vision

Lifestyle of the people is changing drastically towards modernization. This paper presents an attempt to use the latest technology to help in bringing out a change in the way people shop and purchase. The application helps you in trying an accessory without even wearing them on. The virtual item mapping is dynamic and has minimal effect on the movement of the user. The application will see you through the camera and prompts the user to pick an accessory which helps in visualizing the accessory. The item selected from the list would be mapped instantly on the user. This paper presents the mapping of the goggle on to the eyes of the user and displays the mapped image to the user. This attempt would give a new dimension to the way online shopping is carried out and would reflect the use of modern technologies thereby helping the customer for better shopping.
