Edaphic factors and crop growth using machine learning — A review

In India agriculture plays a major role in economy. Due to population explosion, the land available for agriculture has been reduced drastically. It is very essential to make use of available land by choosing appropriate crop and cropping pattern. In this paper, different machine learning methods used in predicting the soil type, soil moisture and soil nutrient content are discussed.
