Behavioral study of a multi-input dynamic system by Bond Graph approach

The objective of this work is to simulate the dynamic behavior of the vehicle during the braking phase. The proposed approach for the implementation of the models is based on the Bond Graph formalism in order to study the evolution of several representative quantities (speed, braking distance…). This paper begins with a state of the art on the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Then, it presents the mathematical representation of vehicle dynamics. These equations lead to the design of the system models. Then, we will use software CarSim and Matlab Simulink to visualize the dynamic behavior of the vehicle during the braking phase.
