Composition and process dependence of sputtered NiFe thin films

Permalloy films with three different compositions were prepared using dc and rf magnetron sputtering. MRC 943 sputtering system was used for deposition. The thickness of these NIFe was varied from 500 to 2000 Agstroms. Bare silicon and thermally oxidized silicon wafers were used as substrates.
