A review on 3D printing: Advancement in healthcare technology

3D printing is an extensive and competent process used for creating a three-dimensional (3D) object by solidifying the material which can be liquid molecule or powder grains under the control of computer. Nowadays, 3D printing is being used in almost all fields, especially in Automation, Defense, Healthcare, Aeronautics, etc. In the field of Healthcare, the idea of bioprinting is implemented. Bioprinting, simply put is using 3D printing technology into biology, i.e, combining biomaterials to fabricate biomedical parts. This paper discusses how 3D printing has progressed and what further development can be done with respect to its cost effectiveness and relative availability to places facing medical crisis due to shortage of such advancing technologies.
