Novel intelligent module and business model for smart machinery

Purchasing machine is a large spending for many companies; however maintenance is not easy if purchasing a used machine. If the machine can be rented, it can save a lot of costs for the company. Moreover, it needs to set many parameters in processing machine when changing the tool (or mold). Therefore, smart parameter setting can set up the machine automatic and quickly when changing tool (or mold). The object of this study is integrating GPS and RFID module to develop novel intelligent modules that could be installed on the machine to be a smart machine. The machine can be tracked by the GPS module if it rented to the company. Besides, building a database and auto-setting the parameters in processing machine for different tools (or molds) by the RFID tag on the tool (or mold). Finally, this experiment had actually been implemented on PET blow molding machine in Chumpower Company.
