The outage probability of mobile wireless networks over η-μ fading channel

The probability density of the received power, and the outage probability of wireless static networks in η-μ fading environment have been well analyzed in the literature whereas, a few papers account for dynamic mobility models where the also the effect of random position of nodes is considered in the statictics of the received power. Based on our knowledge, most of the existing work in dynamic mobility models in wireless network consider Rayleigh fading environments. In this paper, the performance evaluation of dynamic mobility model over more generalized (η-μ) distribution is studied. Novel expressions for the received power and the outage probability are derived. In addition, these expressions includes several other available in the literature, such as those for Rayleigh [1], and Nakagami-m [2] distributions. Finally, the effects of propagation, path loss are presented in the numerical results.
