FPGA-based transceiver circuit for labeling signal transmission system

In this paper, we propose a field programmable gate array (FPGA)-based transceiver circuit for realizing multiplex communication called a “labeling signal transmission system.” The proposed circuit configuration consists of an FPGA and discrete devices. In this system, a labeling signal that is additional information is transmitted by carrying out frequency modulations of the frame signal. In this study, assuming a 500 kb/s frame signal, we designed a modulation control circuit and demodulation circuit. We also confirmed transmitting and receiving of a 3 kb/s labeling signal from the experimental results and the effectiveness of the proposed system.
