Modeling and analysis of integrated precise joule micro-heater for lab-chip diagnostic devices

The paper proposes a part of extended research devoted to application of Lab-Chip devices for real-time monitoring of the water quality in rivers, pools, lakes, etc. The diagnostic Lab-Chip detects hazardous species due to chemical reactions and further detecting. The crucial point is precise heating of the reaction chamber and maintaining stable temperature despite the exothermic or endothermic nature of the reaction. The goal of actual work was modeling, simulation and analysis of integrated precise joule micro-heater for Lab-Chip diagnostic device.
