A Nyström discretization of an augmented Müller surface integral equation

A well-conditioned surface integral equation method for the scattering from the material objects is presented. The formulation incorporates surface electric and magnetic charges into the conventional Müller formulation and adds constraints on the normal components of the magnetic and electric fields. It is arranged as an augmented Müller (A-Müller) formulation and is discretized using the locally corrected Nyström (LCN) method. Numerical results confirm that the method is accurate, well-conditioned and stable over a wide frequency range, including zero frequency, for multiply connected and complex multiscale geometries.
