Anti-clutter high resolution two dimensional imaging method in measurement fields based on SAR and ISAR

Turntable inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) technique is commonly used in microwave measurement field. A large rotating angle can be easily provided to insure high cross-range resolution. But turntable ISAR has the problem of zero-Doppler clutter mixing. In this paper, we proposed a new 2-D imaging measurement method based on both synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technique and ISAR technique. The new method uses both a short scanning orbit and a turntable to finish the measurement. It can solve the problem of zero-Doppler clutter mixing while achieving high cross-range resolution. Simulation and experiment results show the effectiveness of the new method.
