Synthesis, characterization, and investigation of ambipolar behaviour on FeVO4 nanocrystals

We have successfully synthesized iron vanadate nanoparticles using the ultrasonic path, which exhibits ambipolar character of electrical measurement. FeVO₄ nanoparticles were formed ~35 nm in after annealing at 600 °C for 120 mins. This method of synthesis of iron vanadate (FeVO₄) nanoparticles are highly suitable for micro scale-up preparations for memory switching applications. The X-ray diffraction reveals the pure phase of FeVO₄ nanoparticles and the I-V measurement result shows the ambipolar nature of FeVO₄ thin film.
