Compact feeding structure for standard waveguide and substrate integrated waveguide arrays

A compact single-layer feeding mechanism for slot arrays in standard and substrate integrated waveguide is proposed. Series of cascaded T-junctions are used to divide the input power in arbitrary amplitude ratios and with equal or alternating phase. The design procedure also allows for varying terminating impedances for different branch lines giving more control over the design of waveguide arrays with complex geometries.
