Combination of textual and graphical based authentication scheme through virtual environment

There is a phenomenon of threats everywhere in internet, internal networks and secure environments. Due to ignorance and lack of knowledge, general users use meaningful and relative combinations of passwords which they could remember and use easily. Other security methods which involve Smart cards or token based can also be stolen. Graphical password also owns password space less than or equal to the textual passwords. Many Biometric methods have also been introduced which involves fingerprints, palm prints, face recognition and etc. The biometric system uses user's personal physical characteristics. For the biometric scanning device user require to physically present which is not feasible for any users at some time. Being and expensive system, it can be slow and often unreliable procedure. This paper shows the graphical password protection under virtual environment. This will help to secure the system by letting the user chose his graphical movements of the objects provided in virtual environment which, as a result will create a unique password.
