Intelligence provisioning model to support web objects enabled ubiquitous self-directed learning

The ubiquitous learning enables learners to follow their own way of curiosity that is developed by collaborators, trainers, and tools to improve knowledge and ability to think. Ubiquitous solutions offer different means for learning that consist of formal or informal methods and online or offline approaches. However, to support this, a web based ubiquitous environment is highly required which can help learners to be aware of their own progression, to control and manage their learning procedure, to share their learned knowledge and experience with others, to apply learning for their real life requirements and to have control of their learning environment. In view of the above, this paper proposes a novel architectural model of a ubiquitous self-directed learning system in the web environment. This system is based on Web Objects framework.
