A study on near-real-time geometric correction system of drones image

Flood disasters are a kind of disaster that occurs in a short time due to heavy rain, strong thunderstorms, hurricanes, and tropical storms. Recently, a monitoring technique using a remote sensing technique capable of observing the inaccessibility and easily collecting spatial data in a wide area has been studied. In this case, the drone is more economical, steady and timely than other platforms, and recently, various monitoring systems using unmanned aircraft have been studied. This study is a study on the geometric correction technique of the preprocessing system which is being applied to smart eye system which is the local disaster disaster monitoring system using the drone. The reference images were matched with the SURF algorithm for geometric correction of the drone image. As a result of the matching, the reference image showed error of about 3m.
