The influence of electrostatic force on the moving interfacial crack between dissimilar piezoelectric materials

A crack with fixed length moving at constant velocity along the interface between dissimilar piezoelectric materials is systematically discussed. Based on the extended Stroh formalism and Muskhelishvili's method, the explicit expressions of electroelastic field and dynamic stress and electric intensity factors are deduced. The influences of electrostatic forces and the crack speed on the piezoelectric fracture behavior are investigated with the uniform remote mechanical and electrical loads. In which the electrical boundary condition adopts the semi-permeable assumption. According to the numerical results, the effect mechanism of electrostatic force and crack speed is discussed.
