Planning and Suggestions for the Walnut Production Areas in Beijing

Through the systematically collection of climate, ecology, soil and other basic data of Beijing, an in-depth study of climate and ecological adaptability of walnut trees in Beijing were carried out. On the basis of this study, the GIS technology was used to obtain the fine division of walnut tree distribution (100 m×100 m) in Beijing, and the suitable distribution areas of walnut trees in Beijing were determined. The detailed distribution of walnut trees in Beijing was drawn using big data analysis technology, and the main production areas of walnut were determined. The production status, existing problems and development suggestions for the production areas were analyzed systematically. This study has very important practical significance for the optimization of walnut industry distribution, sustainable development, and the increase of farmers' income in mountainous areas in Beijing.
