Research on Wear Loss of Turnout Outside Locking Device

Railway turnout switching equipment is an important equipment to ensure the safety of railway operations. When a vehicle passes the turnout, the turnout switching equipment will be subjected to the wheel-rail coupling effect produced by the wheel and the rail, which will produce a drastic dynamic response, resulting in mutual fraction between the constituent structures and wear loss. In this paper, a typical outside turnout locking device switching equipment is taken as research object, and the wear loss caused by a 350 km / h high-speed train passing through the turnout as research content. Then the finite element method is used to analyze the wear loss caused during continuous vehicle passing, obtaining a method of predicting the wear loss of outside locking device and knowing the change of wear loss of contact surfaces of critical structural parts of the outside locking device with time.
