The increased resistance of the spacecraft electronic elements containing dielectrics to the emergence of ESD

The paper presents the results of computer simulation of electric fields in the dielectrics of radioelectronic elements housings. The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental data. The possibility of efficient use of composite low-conductive dielectrics in typical digital devices is shown. It makes possible to prevent the occurrence of electrostatic discharges. The growing complexity of the structure and the electronic component base of the spacecraft lead to increase concerns about its existence in the space environment. Over the past two decades, numerous conferences have been held as well as books are published on issues related to plasma interactions the same as areas of spacecraft surface charging. Nevertheless, the effects of differential charging with a subsequent discharge are still the main source of cosmic anomalies. Whether surface charging, internal charging, plasma interactions at low altitudes or induced fields at the boundaries, accumulation of charge on or of a spacecraft itself poses a constant problem for spacecraft designers and designers.
