Definition of approaches to the assessment of tactical unmanned aerial vehicles effective use in the state border guard body

The paper presents the task definition of assessing the effectiveness of using unmanned aircraft complexes in the interests of monitoring the situation at the state border. For the purpose of its solution, a comprehensive consideration of various factors influencing the target identification has been proposed. The possibilities of the surveillance subsystem, terrain features, altitude and range of unmanned aerial vehicles have been taken into account to assess the effectiveness of the state border surveillance.
