High-level design of a 2nd order DT-SDM via SIMSIDES and its FPAA implementation

In this work, a high-level design of a 2^nd order discrete time SD modulator via SIMSIDES-SIMULINK and its FPAA (Anadigm AN231K04-DVLP3 development kit) implementation are presented. Experimental results prove the SIMSIDES viability for low-cost fast prototyping of SD modulators in embedded hardware, which is a handy alternative compared to more expensive and slow CMOS process realization. Experimental results include 50dB SNR, ENOB=8 and a 128 OSR.
