Synthetic aperture image formation for multi-receiver syntehtic aperture sonar

Based on the phase centre approximation method, the multi-receiver data can be converted to the monostatic format. This conversion is usually carried out with the data preprocessing, i.e. interpolation and complex multiplication. After the data conversation, this paper presents a range-Doppler algorithm for multi-receiver synthetic aperture sonar (SAS). Finally, simulated data is used to test the presented method. It shows that the presented method can obtain imaging results with high performances.
