Image reconstruction based on multi-electrode excitation in ECT system

In view of the uneven distribution of sensitive field in the single electrode measurement mode of electrical capacitance tomography (ECT), this paper puts forward a measurement model based on multi-electrode methods. By increasing the number of the measured capacitance, the multi-electrode excitation method improves the equilibrium of the sensitive field in the measurement area, and then improves the quality of the reconstructed image. For comparison, the traditional liner back projection (LBP) and conjugate gradient (CG) algorithm are used to reconstruct image, and the relative coefficient and relative error are used as the image quality evaluation indexes. We test the influence of different excitation modes on the quality of the reconstructed image. The simulation results show that the subjective and objective evaluation indexes are better than that of the single electrode excitation.
