Efficient interference management for device-to-device communication underlaying cellular networks

In this paper, we study the interference management for device-to-device (D2D) underlaying cellular networks, where the objective is to maximize the total transmission rate while satisfying maximum power constraints and interference limitations. We develop a two-stage procedure to address the formulated problem. At the first stage, we perform subchannel allocation scheme to remove the integer constraints. At the second stage, we propose an efficient power distribution procedure by employing barrier method. The effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed scheme are verified by numerical experiments.
