Reliability estimation routing strategy for aeronautical cluster networks

To guarantee the reliability of communication in future aviation cluster networks, a mobile prediction based link reliability estimation routing strategy is proposed. Firstly, preciously predicting neighbor node location by using a mobile location prediction method. Secondly, according to prediction results, the current node partitions it's communication range and estimates the corresponding link reliability function values to different neighbor node area. According to the obtained reliability value, the hop factor is combined to route selection. Finally, the OLSR protocol is used as the carrier to the routing strategy. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the routing strategy proposed in this paper. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the reliability of routing in aviation cluster network.
