Fluid solid coupling in the process of feeding the cylinder

Food, pharmaceutical and other industries have many production process of material mixing, the mixture has both the solid material itself and the need for a homogeneous mixing of the gas liquid material with the solid material, the effect of mixing directly affects the consistency of quality and quality of products. Traditional experimental and theoretical methods are difficult to reveal the internal law of mixing process and affect the evaluation and optimization of mixing effects. The discrete element method is an effective method to study the mixing process of solid materials, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is an effective method for the study of gas liquid factors, the two coupling can well describe the internal law of the mixing process. In this paper, Eulerian-Eulerian method is used to realize the coupled analysis of mixing process.
