Comparative study of active engine mount control methods

Active engine mounts (AEMs) provide an effective solution to further improve the acoustic and vibrational comfort of passenger cars. In this study, the structure of the electromagnetic actuator is analyzed, and the electromagnetic actuator frequency response is derived, the lumped parameter model of an AEM is built. With the help of Matlab/Simulink, the vibration isolation system model is set up based on LMS feedforward adaptive control, RLS feedforward adaptive control, FxLMS adaptive control, LQR optimum control, H2 robust control, H„ robust control, PID feedback control, fuzzy control, fuzzy-PID control. The vibration isolation performance of the nine algorithms are compared based on force transmissibility.
