G.723.1Coder implementation on ZYNQ kitby high level synthesis

This paper describes the G.723.1 algorithm Coder Implementation and optimizing area and computation time parameters. This is a speech or audio compression algorithm. 5.3 kbit/s and 6.3 kbit/s are the two bit rates of G.723.1. The 6.3 kbit/s bit rate gives the better voice quality and 5.3 kbit/s also gives the better quality with added flexibility. The G.723.1 Codec encoding part is implemented on ZYNQ-7 ZC706 using Vivado HLS and synthesized the same using the Vivado IDE. Vivado HLS and Vivado IDE results are analyzed on area and computation time parameters and compared.
