Reduction of dynamic load of the hot plate stand

The limitation and elimination of dynamic loads that arise during the metal biting are complex tasks at the control system of the plate mill design. This article analyses problems of the impact load during the metal biting. The method of pre-acceleration of the motor using the neural network is considered with regard to the plate mill of the hot rolling stand 5000 OJSC MMK (Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant). The curves of the transient processes of the torque of the work rolls during rolling are presented. In addition, the scheme of control system is shown. The dependence of the drawdown of speed from the rolling moment is presented.
