Terrestrial brodcasting networks and natural and climatic anomalies of the Republic of Angola

The current state of terrestrial broadcasting networks in the Republic of Angola is described. It is shown that the existing broadcasting network is an analog network, which uses mainly MF, HF and VHF ranges, does not allow to receive public broadcasting programs throughout its territory. Transmitter service areas in each frequency range are presented, along with their territorial distribution features in the Republic of Angola. The ways of transition to digital broadcasting are defined, taking into account the documents adopted by the Government of the Republic of Angola, the administrative division, the existing topology of the broadcasting network, natural and climatic conditions, and the peculiarities of population distribution across the territory of the Republic of Angola.
