Modelling and control of greenhouses powered by a renewable energy system

The control of greenhouses consists of regulating different parameters such as temperature, humidity, CO₂ concentration in the air, etc. This work is based on the study of the optimal environmental conditions for growing tomatoes when the sources of energy are renewable (photovoltaic and wind). So, to regulate the heating and ventilation inside the greenhouse, we integrated a wind-PV hybrid generation system. In fact, our work focuses on the modelling, simulation and analysis of such systems in a MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
