Analysis of the effect of YEE cell size on the results of calculation of antenna parameters and characteristics using FDTD method

This article shows the analysis of influence Yee's cell size on results of simulated parameters and radiation patterns of antennas using FDTD method. The analysis were conducted for four various types of antennas: microstrip antenna, symmetric dipole, Uda-Yagi antenna and horn antenna. The results were shown on diagrams. Analysis that were carried out let us to propose the optimum size of Yee's cell considering accuracy of calculations and their duration.
