A novel compact unequal wideband Wilkinson power divider for UWB and EW applications

This article presented a super wideband unequally split planar Wilkinson power divider stand on the operation of quarter wave transformer principle of transmission line circuit with 50Ω input impedance. The proposed unequal Wilkinson power divider utilizes the four quarter wavelength microstrip transmission line arms with distinct impedance values. It is printed on the RT Duriod 5880 dielectric substrate having the thickness and relative permittivity are 0.8 and 4.4 respectively. The simulated results of the composed unequal Wilkinson power divider satisfy, operating frequency range from 1 GHz to 16.2 GHz and input, output ports are matched as well as the minimum isolation is 12 dB over the entire operated frequency range of 1 GHz–16.2 GHz.
