Safeguarding multiuser communication using full-duplex jamming receivers

In this paper, we consider secure communications in a multiuser wireless network, where full-duplex (FD) users operate to enhance wireless physical layer security. Under these assumptions, we exploit the user selection scheme to strengthen the secure performance. We first analyze the optimal power allocation strategy with the knowledge of instantaneous channel state information (CSI) of every channel. We then investigate the security level of the proposed scheme through the ergodic secrecy rate (SR) and secrecy outage probability with only the statistical knowledge of CSIs. Simulation results show that the application of user selection and FD communication lead to a significant improvement in wireless communication security.
