Double frequency SPWM inverter topology for PV systems

This paper presents the study of inverter topology for photovoltaic (PV) systems. The common mode leakage current and the current ripples are reduced in the proposed system by double frequency modulated sinusoidal pulse width modulation. The total harmonic distortion of the proposed system is less compared with the conventional system. The simulation of the proposed system proves that ac voltage to the grid is received with less THD and leakage current.
