Many emerging technologies uses electrical energy in an increasing manner. In this situation, as technology increases, the usage of the current will also increase. In general, large amount of current are being wasted without user's knowledge. The purpose of this article is to slow down the usage of current in home automation. The home automation makes efficient energy usage because it was systemized. It studies about the various techniques used to measure the usage of current in existing scenario. It presents the various tools used for measuring of current. And currently many researches are being proposed for the management of energy consumption in home automation.
