De-noised and compressed image watermarking based on singular value decomposition

Today unethical copying and reusing of digital content is a common phenomenon since the world is rapidly advancing towards the advanced technologies which are designed to meet every desire of human being easier and manageable. Many watermarking systems have a pleasant journey to sort out the problem. Today's world is heading to a digital age where it needs to optimize the existing techniques to figure out the problems that human being face. However, by optimizing the problems both the time and space can be saved. If huge size of image can be reduced to a specified size to design watermarking systems that would be optimized solution. In this regard, in this paper a method is proposed to achieve an optimized solution of watermarking for compressed image. Multi-resolution singular value decomposition (MSVD) is used as a decomposition method which is easier to evaluate and computationally simple. For embedding watermark image into host image SVD is used to get an optimized algorithm to design invisible watermarking system. The proposed method reveals better performance than existing watermarking techniques. PSNR and CC values are considered to evaluate the performance of the proposed method.
