A novel Split-Pi converter with high step-up ratio

Contribution of this paper is to present a high step up converter convenient for universal line base on a customized version of the Split-Pi converter. Developed configuration integrates voltage multiplier technique with the classical Split-Pi circuit to obtain new operating characteristics of high step up static gain. Split-Pi converter has an enormous prospect to meet up current power electronic systems aspiration of high quality and reliable bidirectional operation; to appeal green energy. Furthermore, it is realized that the minimal step up feature of the proposed converter is 2 times of the input voltage. This study aims to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed converter over classical converter considering step up ability. The theoretical analysis is done on the basis of steady state condition. As well as, simulated results obtained with the proposed structure are produced using MATLAB/SIMULINK tool.
