PCB soldering machine by using reflow method

Soldering is the main way of placing SMD components on PCB boards. In traditional way for small scale production soldering irons are used manually for soldering each PCBs which is time consuming and has a lot of risks of manufacturing defects. It also produces harmful gases. In this project a soldering machine was designed which solders SMD components on PCB boards. This machine is using lead free soldering paste which doesn't produce the harmful gases. A soldering profile heat curve was followed and to follow it the heating element of the machine was continuously switched on and off. A PT-100 sensor was added in the machine which takes the data of surrounding temperature inside the machine and sends to the Microcontroller. Through the solid state relay microcontroller take action when to turn it and off the heating elements. The resistance and the corresponding temperature is displayed on a LCD display which is connected to Microcontroller. This design is time, cost efficient and also portable.
