Vehicle monitoring using WSN with improved NLT

As one of the rapidly growing technology, Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) it gets its application in various fields, this paper focuses on vehicle monitoring to prevent vehicle theft in regions of unmanned highways using WSN. We also propose a network model to improve network lifetime. Individual usage of sensor like gas sensor, RFID, Infrared sensor was used in previous works. In this paper we attempt to integrate many sensors and elevate level of safety for the driver and public. Improving network lifetime is done to overcome the major drawback of Wireless Sensor Network A novel model called Single-Hop Energy Region-Based with Fixed Cluster Head (SHERB-FCH) is proposed in this paper for improving overall network lifetime.
