Design, modeling and simulation of low cost robust electric fence energizer in LT SPICE

Electric Fence has become a necessity in this era due to ever increasing frequency of human wildlife conflicts. Electric fence consists of external fence circuit and energizer. Energizer is the component which boosts the voltage and supply to the fence circuit. There is a need to develop an energizer which is robust at the same time cost effective. This paper gives a brief description of the low cost electric fence energizer developed and analyzed using LT SPICE software. It outlines the principle of operation of the energizer developed, discussion on the simulation results, safety standards and validation of the proposed model.
