Brain tumour identification in MRI by applying pixel based segmentation method

Growth of abnormal cells occured in the brain is called as Brain Tumour. MRI is useful tool for the identification of tumour growth. The medical problems are severe if tumour is detected at the later stage hence earliest diagnosis is necessary. In this paper we automatically extract the tumour in MR Images by pixel based segmentation method. It involves enhancement, segmentation and classification steps. To extract the feature the enhanced images are segmented and classified by labelling images into normal and abnormal. It is done for different MRI samples. If samples are more in number, physician could save time applying this method.
