Evaluation of spectrum sensing process through energy detection technique

The exponential growth of wireless data traffic required a promising technology which can exploit the underutilization of spectrum. CR can enhance the overall spectrum efficiency by allowing Dynamic and Opportunistic Spectrum Access in cellular system. Spectrum sensing is essential task of cognitive radio. In this paper, the evaluation of integrated process of spectrum sensing by using energy detection technique has been done. The result analysis have be done by graphical plots for estimation of holes, optimization of threshold value, analysis of energy detector by varying number of samples with plot between detection's probability and false alarm.
