Application of Cuckoo Search Algorithm in the Establishment of Datum Coordinate System of Body Sheet Metal Parts

Precision control is a key step in ensuring product quality in modern manufacturing. And the establishment of the benchmark accurately, is the primary condition to guarantee the measuring precision. As the main body frame structure, automotive sheet metal parts have easy deformation characteristics, in the workshop station conversion process, will lead to the original design reference can not be obtained, the benchmark has been established offset and other issues. In order to solve the above issues, this paper combines with the best fitting method to obtain the objective function, uses Cuckoo Search to get the best datum feature selection program, and presents a method for the selection of the reference system and the construction of the coordinate system for the measurement of the sheet metal parts. It is of practical significance to the measurement accuracy of the sheet metal parts.
