Mimicking on-line monitoring and security estimation of power system using ANN on RT lab

In this paper, on-line monitoring and security estimation using Artificial Neural Network, has been studied on a modified 5-bus system in the MATLAB R2013a Student version licensed software and on a Real-time Hardware-In-Loop RT Lab Simulator of Opal RT technologies. The results are quite encouraging and the following sections will elaborate the work.
