Reduced order model using modified cauer form for multi-input and multi-output LTI systems

In this paper, the modified Cauer form (MCF) discussed to reduce a high order system. This method is based on the continued fraction method. Reduced order model analysis is much easier as compared to original high order model. The coefficients of denominator and numerator of desired reduced order model are evaluated by inversion of modified Routh array. The modified Cauer form is used to reduce multi-input multioutput (MIMO) linear time invariant system. The proposed reduced order model is compared with other model order reduction techniques.
